Short answer: A GG swap is a guaranteed gains swap between two Fanvue creators: instead of paying for guaranteed gains, you trade them, and each side's gains are counted through a link. 1. What is a GG swap on Fanvue?

A GG swap is a swap of guaranteed gains between two Fanvue creators. With a normal guaranteed gains (GG) promo, one creator pays another for a set number of new fans. With a GG swap, two creators promote each other instead, and each side's new fans are counted through a link, so both of you can see the swap working.

Each side of the swap gets its own unique tracking link, with real-time clicks and conversions, so you can both watch your gains come in as they happen. When the swap is complete, you both get an automatic completion notice.

Three rules shape every GG swap:

• It's Pro-only. Both creators need ShareYourFans® Pro, because the swap runs on Pro's automation.
• Up to 3 at a time. You can have up to 3 GG swaps running at once.
• Same platform. A GG swap pairs two creators on the same platform, so a Fanvue creator swaps with another Fanvue creator.

2. What counts as a "gain" on Fanvue?

On Fanvue, guaranteed gains come in two kinds, because Fanvue has two kinds of fan.

Followers vs subscribers. Fanvue lets fans follow for free. Fanvue's help centre says followers can see the content you make available to followers, read your captions and receive your messages, but they can't view content only available to subscribers. Subscribers pay for that access. So GG fans can include free followers, while GG subscribers are fans who started a subscription through your free trial link.

What a free trial means for the fan. Fanvue's Terms and Conditions say that if a fan doesn't cancel during a free trial, they're billed at the end of the trial and at the start of each subscription period after that. Fanvue's promotional subscription periods can run from 1 day to 12 months.

When both pages are paid, both sides use a free trial link. A swap of paid pages can't be fair on any other kind of link, because the two pages cost different amounts: if one page is $10 a month and the other is $50 a month, a new subscriber isn't worth the same to each of you. A free trial link puts both sides on the same footing.

3. How does a GG swap run, step by step?

Because the swap only works if both sides' promos go out on time and both sides' gains are counted the same way. Pro is what gives both creators that.

• Automated scheduling. Pro schedules posts and mass DMs for you, and they go out even when your computer or browser is off.
• Daily stats. Pro creators never re-verify, because we pull their stats daily, so you're swapping with someone whose numbers are current.
• Fan overlap. You see the shared-fan percentage only when both creators are on Pro.

8. Risks and tradeoffs

• Followers aren't subscribers yet. A GG fans swap can bring mostly followers. They're worth messaging, but they haven't paid.
• Free trials end. GG subscribers from a free trial link are billed only if they don't cancel during the trial, so plan your welcome messages for the trial window.
• Both of you need Pro. If your favourite partner is on the free plan, an SFS is the way to swap for now.
• Promoting someone else takes space. Each swap means posts or messages about another creator; space them out between your own content.
• Overlap wastes a swap. If most of your partner's fans already follow or subscribe to you, there's little to gain. Check overlap first.
