Short answer: Fanvue creators have two main ways to get paid for promoting other creators.
- Fanvue Affiliates: you share another creator's link and earn a commission of 5% to 50% on what the new fans spend. It's built into Fanvue, but it's still rolling out to accounts.
- Flat-price promo: you sell feed posts, mass DMs, guaranteed gains followers or guaranteed gains subscribers for a price you set. On the ShareYourFans® Promo Marketplace, the buyer's payment is held until you deliver.
Full disclosure: we make ShareYourFans®. Everything below about Fanvue comes from Fanvue's own help centre and policies (checked September 2026).

1. Fanvue Affiliates
Fanvue Affiliates pays you for sending your fans to a creator who's already on Fanvue. Per Fanvue's help centre:
- A creator opens an offer and picks a commission between 5% and 50%.
- You browse open offers and accept one. There's no application, and you get a unique affiliate link to share.
- You earn your percentage of what that creator makes from the fans you bring, for as long as those fans keep subscribing and renewing.
- It only counts fans who are new to that creator. Free trials alone don't earn commission; it starts with a fan's first paid renewal.
- You can have up to 5 active affiliate links, and each link stops earning after $50,000 in lifetime commission.
Fanvue's help centre lists it under Creator Tools → Affiliates. It's a beta feature that's rolling out gradually, so you may not see it on your account yet.
Best for: creators whose fans spend, and who are happy to wait for commission to build over time.
2. Selling flat-price promo
With flat-price promo, another creator pays you a set price and you promote them. Whether their new fans spend afterwards doesn't change what you're paid. On Fanvue you can sell four kinds of promo:
- Feed posts: a paid promotional post about another creator on your feed.
- Mass DMs: a paid promo message sent to your fans.
- Guaranteed gains (GG) followers: you guarantee a minimum number of new followers. Followers follow the creator for free.
- Guaranteed gains (GG) subscribers: you guarantee a minimum number of new subscribers. These promos run through a free trial link.
Know which one you're selling, because a follower and a subscriber aren't the same thing. If a GG promo falls short of the guarantee, you make it up with extra promo or a refund.
3. How to sell Fanvue promo on ShareYourFans®
- Get ShareYourFans® Pro and connect the browser extension. There's no minimum fan count. The extension pulls your Fanvue stats live, so buyers see real numbers instead of screenshots. Pro comes with a 7-day free trial.
- Open Promo → Create Listing.
- Pick your promo type: Feed Post, Mass DM or Guaranteed Gains (followers or subscribers).
- Set your price, package and buyer requirements, then publish. The listing goes live in the directory straight away, showing your verified stats.
- Deliver. Schedule the promo in a few clicks. ShareYourFans® adds #advertisement to every promo automatically.
- Get paid. The buyer's payment is held until you deliver. Once the order is complete and both sides have reviewed it, you're paid through MassPay on the next payout day (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
What you get for selling on ShareYourFans®
- A bigger pool of buyers. Your listing is in the Promo Marketplace, where thousands of creators already use ShareYourFans® for SFS, drops and more.
- Free promotion for your listing. We share every seller listing on our company social accounts to bring in more buyers.
- ROI on the tracking link. Buyers can see how much money your promo earned them.
- Fan overlap insights on Pro. If you and the buyer are both on Pro, you can each see how many fans you already share before the order, so neither side wastes a promo on shared fans. Every guaranteed gains order shows it, since GG is Pro-only. Feed posts and mass DMs bought on the free plan don't show overlap, which is a big reason buyers go Pro.
- Automated scheduling that makes filling orders easy.
- A notification to both creators when the promo is fulfilled.
- Buyer Protection: the payment is held until you deliver, then released to you.
Is the 15% fee worth it? ShareYourFans® keeps 15% of each completed sale, so a $100 promo pays you $85. In return, ShareYourFans® takes on the grunt work: bringing you buyers, holding payment, scheduling and delivery, tracking results, disputes and MassPay payouts.
4. Which should you choose?
- Choose Fanvue Affiliates if you have access, your fans spend, and you're happy to earn over time.
- Choose flat-price promo if you want to be paid for the promo itself, you don't have Affiliates yet, or you want to sell on OnlyFans, Fansly or LoyalFans too.
They aren't either/or. Affiliates earns from what fans spend over time, and flat-price promo pays you for the promo itself.
5. Fanvue's rules for paid promo
Fanvue's Creator Advertising & Promotion Policy says paid or sponsored content needs clear disclosure, such as #ad, "sponsored" or a partnership label. ShareYourFans® adds #advertisement to every promo automatically. If you sell promo on your own, add a label yourself, and check Fanvue's current policy before you post.
FAQ
Can Fanvue creators sell shoutouts to other creators?
Yes. You can earn a commission through Fanvue Affiliates if it's on your account, or sell flat-price feed posts, mass DMs and guaranteed gains promos. Paid promo needs a clear ad label.
What's the difference between GG followers and GG subscribers on Fanvue?
Followers follow a creator for free. Subscribers subscribe, and GG subscriber promos run through a free trial link. A guarantee of 100 followers and a guarantee of 100 subscribers are different promos.

Between 5% and 50% of what the new fans spend, depending on the offer. It starts with a fan's first paid renewal, not the free trial, and each link has a $50,000 lifetime cap.
Do I need a minimum number of fans to sell promo on ShareYourFans®?
No. You need ShareYourFans® Pro and the connected browser extension. Buyers see your verified stats and decide for themselves.
When do I get paid for a ShareYourFans® promo?
Through MassPay, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, once the promo is delivered and the order is complete. ShareYourFans® keeps 15%.
